Artlabs Berlin needed HP Cloud booth concepts modeled and rendered within one week. I produced three viable, and dramatic concepts in record time and Artlabs & HP were thrilled. The design guidance was basically a ‘napkin sketch’ .DWG. of the Ring Diameter and Pylon size only. HP then supplied me with art for the surfaces on Day 3 after they got excited about a few test renders.
Structure in Mind
While these renderings are ‘conceptual’ and aesthetically driven. I modeled a rough, necessary structure in tubular steel space-frames, and arcing fiberglass rods that pulls out a stretchy nylon mesh, which is projected upon by blue and violet lights, to point out the realities of this direction. This physical ‘Cloud’ structure was both the chosen option, and my favorite.
